ABOUT THIS FUND
The ABF Pan Asia Bond Index Fund is an Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) launched and managed by State Street Global Advisors Singapore Limited. Its core mission is to invest in the fixed income markets across Asia. The fund's holdings consist of local-currency, fixed-rate debt instruments with a minimum maturity of 18 months. These bonds originate from a diverse set of issuers, including national governments, their agencies or instrumentalities, government-sponsored entities, quasi-governmental bodies, and supranational financial institutions. It exclusively targets investment-grade securities, though the specific rating requirements vary by issuer type: quasi-sovereign debt must carry a minimum rating of BBB- from S&P or Fitch, or Baa3 from Moody's; supranational debt necessitates an S&P rating of at least AA-; while sovereign debt has no stipulated minimum credit rating. Its investment strategy involves employing a representative sampling methodology to closely track the performance of the Markit iBoxx ABF Pan-Asia Index.
