The Bluemonte Large Cap Core ETF (BLUC) strives for capital appreciation by allocating its assets to a diverse range of third-party funds that concentrate on large-capitalization companies. These underlying investments may employ either passive or active management styles, targeting companies within both U.S. and international markets, and encompassing various investment philosophies, including value and growth. BLUC employs a methodical strategy, starting with a top-down macroeconomic assessment, which is then complemented by bottom-up fundamental research to identify and select appropriate funds. The sub-adviser determines the desired asset allocation and return profile, opting for funds that effectively represent their asset class, are competitively priced, and exhibit strong performance relative to similar ETFs. When evaluating actively managed ETFs, an additional layer of scrutiny is applied to assess the quality and experience of the underlying fund's management team. As an actively managed fund, BLUC's manager possesses complete authority to modify the portfolio as market conditions evolve.
