TKNS is an actively managed exchange-traded fund designed to offer comprehensive exposure to the dynamic world of cryptocurrencies and digital assets. Its portfolio can directly hold digital assets or gain indirect exposure through various exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and exchange-traded products (ETPs) based on spot prices or derivatives. Asset selection follows a rigorous, research-driven methodology, combining fundamental analysis of market structures and broader macroeconomic evaluations. This qualitative assessment is then complemented by a quantitative, rules-based framework that determines and adjusts portfolio weightings. Individual crypto assets are evaluated using a unique scoring system that considers their underlying technological foundation, anticipated regulatory environment, level of community involvement, and overall ecosystem vibrancy. For an asset to be deemed eligible for inclusion, it must fulfill specific criteria: a trading history spanning at least twelve months, an average daily trading volume of no less than $25 million over the preceding 30-day period, and active listings on a minimum of three distinct exchanges. The fund retains the option to stake certain assets to generate additional income. Furthermore, speculative strategies may involve employing short positions or acquiring long put options. To facilitate access to particular cryptocurrency and derivatives exposures, a dedicated subsidiary located in the Cayman Islands is utilized.
