The Weitz Core Plus Bond ETF (WCPB) is an actively managed fund primarily focused on generating a steady stream of income and safeguarding its principal investment. A secondary goal for this exchange-traded fund is to achieve long-term growth in capital. The portfolio is diversified across a wide range of fixed-income instruments, including U.S. government bonds, various structured products (such as mortgage-backed and asset-backed securities), corporate debt, different types of loans, and bonds issued by foreign governments. Up to twenty-five percent of its assets may be allocated to higher-yielding, higher-risk debt. Additionally, the fund may occasionally employ derivative instruments for purposes of risk management or to enhance its overall investment strategy.
