The Innovator U.S. Equity Accelerated Plus ETF aims to deliver enhanced exposure to the S&P 500 index. Specifically, it is structured to provide three times (3x) the positive returns of the SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust (SPY), though these gains are subject to a predefined maximum or "cap." Conversely, it strives to maintain a downside risk profile that is roughly equivalent to that of the underlying index, targeting approximately one-to-one exposure to losses. These specific performance objectives are measured and reset at the end of each annual period. Investors are able to hold this ETF for an extended duration, with its investment characteristics recalibrating annually.
