ABOUT THIS FUND
USMD provides exposure to America First Technologies. These are US companies positioned to benefit from the development and deployment of technologies critical to US innovation, national security, and industrial leadership. Investments target eight key areas: autonomous systems, cybersecurity, defense technology, digital infrastructure, electronic components, nuclear and power storage, robotics, and semiconductors. The funds strategy seeks performance similar to a market cap-weighted index, which consists of approximately 120 pure-play companies operating across the eight focus areas. While the index serves as the framework for portfolio construction, the sub-adviser actively manages the fund using full replication or representative sampling. The sub-adviser also retains discretion over investment decisions, including buying or selling non-index securities, investing in IPOs, and allocating up to 20% of assets to non-index securities, private companies, and cash equivalents.
