Founded by Justin Anyanwu after being laid off in January 2025, Stock Taper turned a two-year-old dream into a working product. The platform launched on February 26, 2026, with a mission to close the knowledge gap between Wall Street professionals and everyday investors.

Justin Anyanwu is a software engineer and the founder of Stock Taper. After being laid off in January 2025, he channeled a long-standing interest in making stock research more accessible into building the platform from the ground up — handling everything from design and frontend development to backend infrastructure and AI integration.
