The First Trust Innovation Leaders ETF (referred to as the "Fund") primarily seeks to generate capital appreciation for its investors. In typical market environments, the Fund allocates a minimum of 80% of its net assets (which may include funds borrowed for investment purposes) to equity shares and depository receipts. These securities are issued by both domestic (U.S.) and international entities that are anticipated to thrive from the development or deployment of scientific and technological breakthroughs. This investment universe includes, but is not confined to, enterprises positioned to gain from groundbreaking products or services, pioneering scientific inquiry, technological enhancements, or significant improvements to existing offerings.
